ELIZABETH SMITH (BETTY) The family of Elizabeth Smith would like to thank everyone who attended her funeral and to all those who sent messages of sympathy at this sad time. Betty spent the last year at Stanley Wilson Lodge in Saffron Walden. The staff at Stanley Wilson did everything to make her happy and comfortable right up until the last moment of her life. There has been a lot of bad publicity surrounding residential care homes for the elderly and we would like to say that Stanley Wilson Lodge is outstanding in every way and the staff are truly amazing. We would like to thank every one of them for their love and kindness. Please accept this as their only but most sincere acknowledgement.
