JOAN HOADLEY
Sadly passed away peacefully at home, aged 78, on Wednesday 10th March 2021 after a short battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed by her Husband, Sister, Family and Friends. A private funeral will be held in line with current restrictions. Anyone wishing to send flowers or to make a donation for Cancer Research should contact Co-op Funeral Directors, Great Dunmow. I’m sorry to hear the passing of Joan. I had not had contact for many years due to moving away. Such fond memories of Joan and her commitment to Girl Guides when I was young. Always bringing joy to her patrol, organising days out, picnics, supporting rememberance Sunday come run or shine. Joan always knew my love of rabbits and brought happiness gifting me with my very own pet bunny. I’ve often thought about her over the years and wondered if she still lived in Saffron Walden. A truly wonderful lady with a big heart! I will remember her always!
