EDNA VIOLET HORNER We are sad to announce that Edna Violet Horner, née Button, passed away suddenly on Sunday 20th September 2020 aged 89 years. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. A private family funeral will take place, due to current restrictions. Her final journey from her home, then through the Thaxted High Street at around 12.30pm on Thursday 15th October, for those wishing to pay their last respects. The service will be webcast. Her last wish was a large, noisy party which will be held next summer to celebrate Edna's life. Family flowers only, but any donations, If desired, to MENCAP.
