RONALD MATTHEWS (RON) of Great Sampford and formerly of Hempstead, passed away peacefully at Addenbrookes Hospital on Thursday 1st February 2018, aged 87 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Jill, much loved dad of Trevor and Kim, devoted grandad of Hayley and Zoe and a dear brother. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral Service at Hempstead Parish Church on Monday 5th March at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the churchyard. Flowers or if wished donations may be made payable to Addenbrookes Charitable Trust (ACT) and sent c/o H. J. Paintin Ltd., 43 High Street, Linton, Cambridge, CB21 4HS.
