HOWARD SCHOFIELD of Newport, Essex, died peacefully in Cambridge on 17 March 2017, aged 80. Beloved husband of Janet, father of Paul and Tim, brother of Roger, grandfather of Elliott, Olivia, Louis and Gabrielle and father-in-law to Maria and Kay. Greatly loved by all. Cricketer, pilot, musician, businessman, traveller and fantastic human being. We are privileged to have been loved by such a kind, special man. Will also be missed by his extended family and many friends. Now padding up for the promise of endless summer. Funeral to be arranged.
