MARION CLAIRE SKEATES of Ickleton (Retired Funeral Director) passed away suddenly, but very peacefully in Ward D9 at Addenbrookes Hospital on Sunday 15th May 2016, aged only 65 years after losing her long and bravely fought battle with cancer. Loving, loyal and devoted wife and soul mate of David, adored and loved mum to Claire and James. A loved and fun granny granny mum to Emily, Eleanor, Lucinda and George, and a very much loved sister and friend to Tim and very respected and loved mother-in-law to Claire and Jeff. She will be so greatly missed by all her family and many friends. The Funeral Service will take place at Ickleton Parish Church on Friday 27th May at 12noon, followed by a Committal at Cambridge City Crematorium later in the day. Please feel free to wear colourful clothing at Marions request.
