GEORGE SUTCLIFFE of Saffron Walden (born in Hoghton, Lancashire) died at home surrounded by his family on January 22nd after a three-month medical nightmare following an accident in early October. His wife Marita died in 2011. Over 57 years of marriage they never stopped loving and liking each other. He was, importantly, the much beloved uncle of Sheila, Eddie, Sandra, Carol, Elaine, Ann and Cathy. He was also uncle to a larger group and a good friend to even more. He will be missed. Funeral will be held at Cambridge Crematorium on Thursday February 19th at 10.30. Dressing in dark clothes is not required, if anything wear something more colourful. Afterwards for those who can we will meet at 9 Gallows Hill, Saffron Walden.
