CAROL JOSEPHINE SMITH My darling Carol was suddenly taken from us in the darkness of night on Sunday 9th March 2014, she later passed away peacefully at Addenbrookes Hospital on Tuesday 11th March. Loving wife and devoted mother of our two wonderful daughters Joanne and Sarah, amazing grandmother to Oliver, Lucy, Matthew, Annabel and Katherine. A Celebration Service of her life will take place on Wednesday 26th March at 2.30pm in Thaxted Parish Church. Family flowers only, but if wished the family would love you to donate to Thaxted Parish Church Restoration Fund. Donations may be sent c/o Peasgood and Skeates, Shire Hill, Saffron Walden, Essex, CB11 3AQ. Thank you all for your letters and cards, each message brings both comfort and even more tears. Brian.
