FRANK RIDGEWAY

FRANK RIDGEWAY aged 80 of Nova Scotia, Canada. Passed away on 15th July 2012. He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy of 52 years. Franks entire lifes passion was music and he ensured every living minute was dedicated to this pursuit. His career in music started in the RAF while stationed in London. In 1954 he immigrated to Canada and continued his military career with the Royal Canadian Navy, Stadacona Bank in Halifax, N.S. Frank was truly an accomplished trumpet player with a long illustrious career in doing what he loved most. Frank received the greatest of admiration from his fellow musicians continuing to play after retirement in various bands and entertaining so many for years, right to the end. He leaves behind many friends and family members in Canada and the U.K. including his dear sisters Elsie Weaver and Phyllis Wright of Thaxted. May he rest in peace and fill the heavens with the sounds of his glorious trumpet.
