HAMMOND Arthur (Sam) of Elmdon, died peacefully 27th August 2011 aged 84. Dearly loved husband of Joan, father of Jennifer, Elizabeth and Sally, father-in-law, grandad and great-grandad. Funeral Service at Elmdon Parish Church on Thursday 8th September at 11.00am. Family flowers only but donations, if desired, may be made to Icknield Way Parish Trust (for the restoration of Elmdon Church) and sent c/o H Peasgood and Son, Shire Hill, Saffron Walden, Essex CB11 3AQ.
