GWLADYS GROOM of Saffron Walden died peacefully in the Arthur Rank Hospice on 16th January 2011 aged 83. Wife of the late Roy Groom, much loved mother of Carole, Susan, Kathryn and Bob and grandmother of ten. Private family cremation followed by a Thanksgiving Service at St Marys Parish Church Saffron Walden on Friday 28th January at 2.00pm. Family flowers only, but donations payable to RNID or RNIB may be sent c/o H Peasgood & Son, Shire Hill, Saffron Walden CB11 3AQ. Thanks to all on Ward L4 at Addenbrookes Hospital, and the Arthur Rank Hospice for their care and attention.
