BARBARA ELIZABETH VELLA (née Day) Passed away at Arthur Rank House on 8th May 2010, aged 74 years, after a long illness bravely borne. Beloved wife of Wistin, mother of Lesley, mother-in-law of Glenn and grandmother of Christopher and Martin. A private burial will take place at Saffron Walden Cemetery, attended by close family and friends. All friends are welcome to a Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate her life at St Marys Parish Church, Saffron Walden, on Wednesday 19th May at 11.30am, and afterwards at the Parish Rooms. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired, may be made payable to Arthur Rank Hospice Charity and sent c/o H Peasgood & Son, Shire Hill, Saffron Walden CB11 3AQ.
