KATIE THEAR Passed away peacefully at home, in Newport on 18th March 2010, aged 70 years. Beloved wife of David, wonderful mother to Matthew, Helen and Gwilym, and devoted Nain to Abigail, Claudia, Elliot, Reece and Megan. She will be greatly missed by all her family, and her many friends. And did you get what you wanted from this life, even so? I did...to call myself beloved, to feel myself beloved on the earth. (Carver) All are welcome to attend Katies funeral service at Newport Parish Church on Friday 26th March at 11am, and afterwards at Tenterfields. Family flowers only please, but donations to Macmillan Cancer Support would be welcomed and may be brought to the service or sent c/o H. Peasgood & Son, Shire Hill, Saffron Walden CB11 3AQ.
