DOROTHY ELLEN EAST Late of King Edward VI Almshouses and Hatherley House, died peacefully in Addenbrookes Hospital on 18th February 2009, aged 89 years. She was much loved by her family in Yorkshire and by all her friends in and around Saffron Walden. She was a shining light in a sometimes dark world. Funeral service at Saffron Walden Baptist Church on Friday 27th February at 2.30pm. Donations to Barnardos may be sent c/o H. Peasgood & Son, Shire Hill, Saffron Walden CB11 3AQ.
