The judges have been announced for the Uttlesford Open 2023 - Saffron Walden Museum's first open-call art exhibition.

Entries will be judged by Australian artist Heath Kane, who has a studio and gallery in Church Street, and award-winning artist and sculptor Ian Wolter.

Ian and Heath will be selecting winners and highly commended work in four categories: best response to the theme 'sense of place', best 2D, best 3D and most creative or original artwork.

Submissions will close on May 20, and any works not selected will still be displayed digitally in the gallery space along with the artist’s details.

The show will be open to the public from Saturday, July 22 until Sunday, October 29, with a private view on July 21.
