Husband-and-wife team Jacqueline and Peter Cooper launched their guide to historical walks around Saffron Walden at Hart's Books.
Saffron Walden History Walks was written by Jacqueline, while Peter surveyed the paths featured in the book.
The book has almost 200 illustrations, along with maps and more than 100 snippets about local history.

Around 35 people attended the launch, and Jacqueline gave a short talk about how the book came about.
Following the launch, Peter organised a four-mile walk based on the book at Little Walden, with a stop for refreshments and a look at the history of Burntwood End Farm en route.
The book is for sale for £10 at the tourist information centre, Hart's Books, Saffron Walden Museum and Clavering Supermarket.
