Saffron Walden Youth Outreach Project (SWYOP) celebrated its 30th birthday with a party for residents, town councillors and volunteers who have helped over the years.

The event took place at the Jubilee Hub on Saturday, June 15, and guests celebrated with a raffle, fizz and birthday cake.

Mike Hibbs, who set up the charity in his mayoral year in 1994, said: "It was so good to meet up with so many of the volunteers who have helped the charity over the years, and to reunite them with some of the young people who benefited from the youth club.
