Cast members of Saffron Hall's Treasure Island entertained crowds at the opening of Saffron Walden's man-made beach.
Mayor Cllr Deryk Eke opened the beach on Friday, July 26 along with representatives from his chosen charities, Saffron Walden Citizens Advice and Mind in West Essex.
He was also joined by business sponsors Oliver Pottrill of Pottrill Holland Property Agents and Tom Cannon of Cannon Architectural Design.

Treasure Island cast members then counted down to the opening.
The beach will be open every day between 10am and 4.30pm until Monday, August 26.
A Saffron Walden Town Council spokesperson said: "It was wonderful to see the beach full of little ones having fun and we hope it continues to be well supported throughout the summer holidays."
