Saffron Walden has launched a community e-cargo bike hire scheme for summer outings.
The scheme, by Uttlesford District Council and OurBike, allows residents and visitors to hire an electric cargo bike.
The bike, which can be used for £3 an hour and stationed at Waffle and Coffee, can be used by both residents and businesses.
Tom, from Saffron Walden, said: "We have wanted a cargo bike for many years but have never been able to afford one.

"It has been brilliant to experience what it would be like to own a cargo bike at very little cost and the kids love it every time.
"We will definitely be using the service again."
