A Saffron Walden bus operator has been shortlisted for an award.
Stagecoach East has been selected as a finalist in the "Large Operator of the Year" category at the Route One Awards.
Their application focused on simplified ticketing, youth fares, and partnerships with organisations like North West Anglia NHS, Addenbrooke's, and Royal Papworth hospitals.

Judges also considered the improvements in bus reliability, driver training, colleague wellbeing schemes, and the "Keep Our People Safe" initiative.
Darren Roe, managing director of Stagecoach East, said: "I am absolutely delighted for our colleagues and for our loyal customers that East has been chosen as a finalist for such a high-profile award.
"It has been a huge amount of work, but we are proud to be on the journey together."
