Now Saffron Walden's Beach on the Common has finished for the summer, the town council is seeking feedback from the public.

Parents, grandparents and carers can have their say by completing a short feedback survey, which can be found at https://forms.gle/Q2KuToNiXY7RpwHC9.

Paper copies are also available at the tourist information centre.

The feedback will help inform the town council's plans and make improvements for community events in 2025-2026.

The Beach on the Common was opened on Friday, July 26 by town mayor Cllr Deryk Eke with the cast of Saffron Hall's Treasure Island, and finished on Monday, August 26 - providing hours of fun for families.

The council has also thanked local businesses Pottrill Holland Property Agents and Cannon Architectural Design for their sponsorship support, along with Cllr Dan McBirnie and Cllr Chloe Fiddy from Uttlesford District Council for donations from their Ward Members Initiative Fund.

A SWTC spokesperson said: "If any local business would like to support community events and activities in 2025 please enquire to events@saffronwalden.gov.uk."
