A nine-year-old girl from Saffron Walden had her musical dreams come true when a song she wrote was recorded by musician Elliot Porter.
Rosie Porter - who is no relation to Elliot - wrote the song 'Constellations' in a Playstation-branded notebook, which was discovered in her bedroom by her parents.
Her dad, professional music photographer Martin Porter, was so impressed by the song that he showed it to several musicians, who all praised the song's themes and level of songwriting skill involved.
Martin already had Cambridge singer-songwriter Elliot Porter in mind, and when Elliot received the scanned lyrics he was so impressed with the lyrics, themes and format that he agreed to build it into a song.
Elliot put the song to music and only needed to tweak the odd line - keeping Rosie's initial words and vision intact.
Over late summer the song was transformed from a demo into a fully fleshed-out ballad with the help of producer and musician Steve MacLachlan - who played instruments on the track - and singer Phoebe Austin, who provided backing vocals.
Elliot said: "This is a lovely project that I have been working on recently and is due for release in November.
"This is a concept that I have not undertaken before but one that has been highly fruitful as we have come up with a great song.
"Rosie's lyrics were quite frankly stunning for someone of her age, and it was relatively straightforward to craft a song once I had understood the concept.

"The flow was there and the feeling, all I had to do was bring it to life and tweak a few lyrics, adding in only one or two of my own for creative purposes and to make certain parts of the song really hit home."
The single will be released on all digital platforms on Friday, November 15, and a special release concert will take place that evening at Fairycroft House in Saffron Walden.
The concert will take place at 7.30pm, with tickets available from Eventbrite.
A music video has also been recorded for the song, with videography by Paul Bellany from Creative Walden.
