A woman was rescued from a field near Saffron Walden yesterday (Thursday) after breaking her leg in a fall.
A Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) was scrambled to a field in Bolts Hill, Castle Camps, alongside an ambulance and rapid response vehicle.
The woman, in her 40s, suffered a suspected broken leg after she took a fall at around 3.45pm.
HART paramedics used a specialist vehicle to get the ambulance crew to the patient who was stranded in the field.
The woman was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, for further treatment.
