Another cold night is forecast across the region with a risk of icy stretches on the roads and wintry showers.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for ice in the East of England. Icy stretches are likely on some surfaces on Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
Ice may form where surfaces remain wet from daytime showers, or where further wintry showers fall onto frozen surfaces during the night and on Thursday morning.
Showers will be a mix of rain, sleet and snow, with some slight accumulations possible, mainly above 200 metres.
The warning is in place from 6pm tonight (Wednesday) until 11am on Thursday.
