A bike sharing scheme could be on the cards for Saffron Walden following the results of an active travel survey.
Uttlesford District Council conducted the three-month survey to assess what bike share options might work for the town, and to invite anyone interested to get involved.
The council received more than 200 comments, indicating a genuine interest in the scheme.
The climate change team is now in the process of looking into what options would work best for the town.
Meanwhile, the team will be hosting another 'come and try' cycle event on Sunday, July 16 to help boost participation.
The event will take place from 10am to 3pm in the Market Square. There will be guided bike rides led by professionals to increase your confidence on two wheels.
