A STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and maths) session in Saffron Walden received a visit from MP Kemi Badenoch.
The sessions are run by Sandra Beale from her home, and are primarily for toddlers and early years.
In the session on Friday, September 1, children aged 13 months to nine years took part in five experiments: water fountains, magnetic suspension, electromagnets, lava lamps and exploring vacuum seals by sticking skewers through bags of coloured water.

Earlier this year, Sandra's STEAM sessions were nominated at the Cambridge Science and Technology Awards.
She started the sessions eight years ago to entertain her middle son when he was nine months old.
