Children at Newport Primary School took part in a competition to design a giant snow globe for their school disco.
The competition, run by housebuilder The Hill Group, invited children to create a design for the inside of the snow globe, which was then used at their disco on Friday, December 8.
Year 3 artist Jacob created the winning entry - a wintry illustration of a snowman with Father Christmas sailing through the night sky behind him.
Jacob was awarded a £25 gift voucher, while runners-up Phoebe in Year 2 and Lily in Year 5 were awarded gift vouchers of £10 each.
The Hill Group, which is launching the Hollymead Square development next to the school in January, also ran two snow globe-making workshops at the school for 60 children across Year 5 and 6.

Newport Primary School interim headteacher Jane Scawthorn said: "As a school, we have been focusing on the concept of collaboration this term, so the opportunity to work with The Hill Group this Christmas has been an excellent opportunity to put this into practise.
"The children have enjoyed working together to make snow globes, while as a community, we have appreciated collaborating with Hill.
"The result has been plenty of festive cheer for all involved – and the addition of the fabulous giant snow globe at our school disco this winter."
