Children at Elsenham Primary School received new books as a Christmas present from housebuilder Dandara.
Dandara, which is building the Millers View development near the school, gifted £350 to the Friends of Elsenham School PTA to go towards the purchase of new curriculum books for pupils to use during lessons.

Millie Simmons, a member of the Friends of Elsenham School, said: "We’d like to thank Dandara for its generous Christmas gift.
"In order to meet the needs of the students, curriculum books are often reused and passed from class to class, meaning that they can quickly become worn and in need of replacement.
"This £350 will go far in purchasing new books for the pupils. Many thanks to Dandara for making this Christmas brighter – and more educational!"
