Pupils at R A Butler Academy in Saffron Walden took part in a public speaking competition to win the Moktar Cup.
The junior school children all had the chance to prepare a speech on a topic of their choice and deliver it to their class.

The finalists then spoke in front of a guest judging panel including Mayor Cllr Heather Asker, drama teacher Rachael Harvey and Ann Geeves, who instigated the first Moktar Cup at R A Butler.
Heidi in Year 5 was chosen as the overall winner for her speech on Henry VIII's wives.
Headteacher Emma Vincent said: "The standard just gets better and better each year and it was not easy for the judges to pick a winner."
