A housebuilder has donated free equipment to a primary school in Elsenham as part of a campaign to celebrate gardening.
Dandara gifted Elsenham C of E Primary School with the kits to boost the school’s gardens, encouraging pupils to participate in gardening activities and outdoor projects.
Stacey McCraith, deputy headteacher at Elsenham Primary School, said: "At Elsenham Primary School, we aim to cover a wide range of important topics and fun activities as part of our outdoor learning, so it’s brilliant to receive the gardening kits.
"This will help to teach the children effectively, but also to demonstrate the impact that gardening can have."
Gemma Bannister, head of sales at Dandara Eastern, said: "We’re pleased to provide resources to help pupils learn about the importance of gardening."
