The timetable for the draft Uttlesford Local Plan has been pushed back due to the upcoming general election.

Originally the draft plan was scheduled for publication in late June, but will now be published immediately after the election on July 4.

Subsequent meetings have therefore been rescheduled, due to restrictions placed on councils in the build up to an election.

The Local Plan panel has moved from Tuesday, July 2 to Monday, July 15, and cabinet has moved from Thursday, July 11 to Thursday, July 18.

An extraordinary full council meeting has moved from Tuesday, July 16 to Tuesday, July 30.

If approved by full council, the plan will be subject to a period of public consultation - known as the 'Pre-submission Regulation 19 Local Plan' - before it is submitted to the planning inspectorate for examination later this year.
