Volunteers have revitalised a neglected community square and play park at Carver Barracks.
Coming together for National Volunteers’ Week, the crew - made up of members from Uttlesford District Council, Carver Barracks Welfare Team, and the MOD - rolled up their sleeves for tasks ranging from cleaning to gardening and painting.

A spokesperson for the Carver Barracks Welfare Team said: "Thank you to everyone who was involved in the community project - we are so grateful and couldn't have done it without their help.
"They have made an outstanding difference to make the space a more welcoming area."
An Uttlesford District Council spokesperson added: "Everyone who participated got a huge amount out of the project and seeing the outcome was so satisfying."
