The countdown to Saffron Walden's Bandstand Season is on, with the ongoing music event set to start next week.
The event, organised by Saffron Walden Town Council, features a 12-week series of free concerts and will coincide with the first-ever national Brass Band Week.
Running every Saturday from July 6 to September 21 between noon and 2pm at the bandstand in the Jubilee Garden, the concerts are set to feature a range of music genres including pop, rock, folk and contemporary choirs.
During Brass Band Week from July 6-14, the Bandstand Season will highlight two brass bands: CSD Brass on July 6 and the Hadstock Silver Band on July 14.
A Saffron Walden Town Council spokesperson said: "We are pleased to be supporting Brass Band Week and thrilled that Arkwright & Co are backing the Bandstand Season for its second year."
