BBC Gardeners' World Autumn Fair is returning to Audley End House and Gardens in Saffron Walden this August.

The event, presented in association with English Heritage, returns from Friday, August 30 to Sunday, September 1.

This year's special guests are Adam Frost on the Friday, Joe Swift on the Saturday and - new to the Autumn Fair - Rachel de Thame on Sunday.

The BBC Gardeners' World presenters will join the editors of BBC Gardeners' World Magazine for seasonal gardening chat, and throughout the fair horticulturalist and presenter David Hurrian will be talking plants with experts from sponsor Regent Seven Seas Cruises and the English Heritage gardens team.

At the new Get Growing Stage, TV chef Marcus Bean will host expert growers and foodies, who will share tips on how to make the most of the autumn months.

The line up includes gardening experts Adam Kirtland and Helen Cross, Scottish-based fungi specialists the Caley brothers, community grower Cara Thompson, urban smallholder Sara Ward and Cambridgeshire dahlia grower Kim O'Brien.

Adam Kirtland will lead bug hotel making workshops, while the Caley brothers will teach gardeners how to grow their own oyster mushrooms.

David Hurrion will present this year's headline showcase garden, designed to help visitors get practical solutions and ideas, and Val Cristman will return with new water mill garden.

The APL Landscaping Skills Competition will see two member companies of the Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) go head-to-head against the clock, and the association will also host a landscaping and design clinic.

Mini show gardens will be on display as part of 'Beautiful Borders', with this year's gardens designed on the theme of 'Share My Space'.

Visitors can learn more about Audley End's history with the plant experts Lucy Chamberlain, Saul Walker and the English Heritage gardens team, who will be hosting guided tours of the organic kitchen garden.

There will be other drop-in tours on the day, including one led by garden designer 'Capability Brown' as he shares his plans for the landscape as he saw it in the 1790s, and Mr Vert, who shares insight into the daily routine of a Victorian kitchen head gardener.

Visitors can buy plants from more than 30 plant nurseries and growers, as well as garden accessories, décor, tools, equipment and furniture.

Food and drink will be available from the Good Food Market, along with street food, an alfresco bar and live bandstand entertainment.

Tickets for BBC Gardeners' Autumn Fair are available from www.bbcgardenersworldfair.com.

Tickets start from £16.50 (£15.50 for concessions) or for English Heritage adult members £13.50 and £12 for concessions.
