Chess players are invited to Saffron Walden's Chatty Café in Waitrose to give 90-year-old Ray a run for his money.
The Chatty Café, hosted by volunteer worker Suzanne Andrews, has met every Wednesday from 10.30am to midday for well over a year.
Suzanne is hoping that someone in the town will pop in and join the table to play chess against Ray.

Ray's previous opponent Max, a young Waitrose staff member, has gone to start university in Brighton so is no longer around to give Ray a game.
The Chatty Café scheme is a non-profit organisation using volunteers to host tables up and down the country.
Visitors are welcome to visit the café area within Waitrose on Wednesday mornings and say hello.
