Three teenage girls are seeking sponsorship to attend the World Karate Federation championships in Jesolo, Italy this month.
Fourteen-year-old Annabel Changer, a pupil at Saffron Walden County High School and a member of Pro-Karate Academy's elite squad, has qualified for the championships alongside Nada Wegrzyn, 14, and Talia Nardelli, 16.
The three girls will represent England in the 13th World Cadet, Junior and U21 Karate Championships.

The athletes need to fund travel, accommodation and kit, with costs expected to be £800 per athlete.
A spokesperson for Pro-Karate Academy said: "Only one athlete per category has been selected by the England Karate Federation (EKF).
"For three athletes to be selected from one club is outstanding."
