Toddlers tried a range of experiments in an autumnal-themed STEM session in Saffron Walden.

Sessions are run by Sandra Beale from her home, and the autumn activities were attended by children aged from 12 months to three years.

Children learnt about the layers of the skin and the composition of blood, and did experiments with leaves and pinecones.

Sandra will be running a toddler and early years autumnal STEM workshop at Saffron Walden Library from 11am to 12.30pm on Saturday, October 26.

The free event can be booked on the Essex Libraries website, and will feature spooky experiments including dancing ghosts, racing spiders and learning about our blood.
